Fruit Loops

Not only does that title describe my new sock project but also my state of mind at the moment. See, I'm currently 3 hours into quitting smoking (for the second time) and things are getting to me; as you will see in the following blog post. It's not so much the nicotine that I'm addicted to, but more the act of smoking; my hands must be busy at all times, so I'm trying to work through my knitting without pain (we put a board under the couch cushions so that's helping immensely).
Earlier today I finished the owl socks, finally! And I got my kitty Monty to reluctantly spokes model the owl socks for me...



You want me to do what??



A little bribery did the trick. "Yes Monty you can watch Celebrity Rehab with me."



So he threw out a little Le Tigre... or is that Blue Steel?



One photo in and we're already playing the exhausted super model game....



Not going to hold up much longer...



And now we're totally zonked and our photo shoot is over... Some one get this kitty a Perrier!



This is the Fruit Loop Sock by the way. I call it that because of the neon clown barf-ish type yarn colors. I love these so much, first I thought I'd give them away but they'll be way too cute to give away. I just can't do it. I'm so selfish!

It's just a basic sock pattern as is the Owl Sock. I didn't want anything fancy to take away from the beautiful colors... so back to work and back to the Celebrity Rehab....
