Hooray?

I finally have an interview. It's for another customer service job, so I'm not sure I'm happy, but hey, it's work and I'd be getting paid the standard CSR pay, which is about $5 more an hour than I was making at my previous job. I only know this because the person who gave them my resume is the wife of one of Chris' co-workers so he has relayed a little more info about the job for me.

I changed my page again to more spring-y colors. I've been gardening like a mad woman, or at least trying to since we don't have much yard (front yard is cemented over so its a "container garden"). I'm trying to grow Zinnias, Marigolds and Morning Glories. I have a jalapeno bush growing, some Kangaroo Paw and a couple Ivy Geraniums. I'd get the pics up of the geraniums since they're in bloom but the batteries died on my camera and they're re-charging as we speak. So for now, just click the links and you'll see the pretty flowers I'm hoping I'll have.

We also have a giant Bouganvillea vine/tree in the front yard. It can start off as a small thing in a pot, but Miss Kathy planted it a few years ago and trained it up over a big trellis (made from plumbing pipe's that Chris' dad had laying around) and now it's a gigantic shady spot in the front that we can sit under. It's really nice but it is absolutely a BEAR to keep trimmed. Since the trellis is unstable and really wide, we can't get to the middle to trim the center and since it's a vine type plant there are many intertwined branches so you can't just separate them in the middle, get up and trim away. You need a ladder just to get to the sides!

We spent about 2 hours on Saturday trimming this thing and it looks so much better. I almost wanted to take some of the trimmings and try to grow some more of this stuff some on the side of the house or in the back, but it's a monster of a project to keep up as is, I'm not going to try it, plus the Morning Glories should be about the same, just not so difficult.

So for now, that's about it, happy St. Patty's Day and I'll let y'all know how the interview went and if I got the job!
